Claire Lynch has been doing it her way since the 1970s. A glorious singer and a stellar songwriter, she also led one of the most respected and beloved bands in bluegrass, the Front Porch Band. She has taken periodic sabbaticals from performing to concentrate on family, but she's been back with a vengeance the past several years with yet another amazing band. This phase of her career received an exclamation point when she was awarded the IBMA's female vocalist of the year for 2010. For her Barking Legs show, she'll be performing with her fantastic young guitarist, Matt Wingate.
