The Arts & Education Council Spring Independent Film Series starts FRIDAY, JANUARY 29, at the Majestic Theater in downtown Chattanooga. These films will run at regular movie showtimes. Check local listings each week for specific times.

Carey Mulligan won an British Independent Film Award for her role as Jenny, a bright London student whose plans to attend Oxford are put on hold when a charismatic playboy nearly twice her age (Peter Sarsgaard) offers the exciting alternative of seeing and experiencing life. Winner of the Audience Award at Sundance, the film is adapted from Lynn Barber’s autobiographical memoirs of the same name.
