Description:

The Compton and Long mandolin duo is the antidote for anyone who thinks of the mandolin as a "small" instrument. Mike-- well known for his years with Nashville Bluegrass Band, David Grier, and John Hartford-- has mastered a powerhouse approach to the instrument which is solidly rooted in the Bill Monroe tradition. David has "taken the ball and run with it." David Grisman was impressed enough to record and release Stomp on his Acoustic Disc label. Catch the energy!
