The Annual Boxcar Pinion Memorial Bluegrass Festival is a tribute in the honor of our Daddy, Boxcar Pinion, who lost his life to cancer in 1990. We are sisters, Cindy Pinion, Inez Pinion Castleberry, Ruth Pinion. Of course, it is only possible with the encouragement and support of our sweet, sweet Momma, Frances Pinion. Plus a host of wonderful, hardworking friends and family who have helped us put together what has become on of the best bluegrass festival around.

The Festival also promotes bluegrass music and keeps Daddy’s memory alive with the music and fun that he gave to so many people. Please read Boxcar’s story. We sell ads in our program booklet, so that we can help continue the research for the cure for cancer. A portion of our ad sales is donated, to the American Cancer Society.

When: Thursday: 1 p.m. - 11 p.m.; Friday: 1 p.m. - 11 p.m.; Saturday: 11 a.m. - 11 p.m.

Cost: $15 Thursday, $20 Friday, $25 Saturday…OR $60 Three Day Pass (this is the price for tickets purchased after April 15th. Before that they are $5 less per day.
