TaleSpin Festival will feature storytellers from various walks of life with story themes that include youth stories, cultural stories, humorous stories, historical stories and more. This event appeals to all ages with a variety of professional storytellers and themes to connect generations and cultures to convey history, traditions and lessons for living. There will be a special opening night at the historic Tivoli Theatre, Thursday, May 8th. On Friday and Saturday, May 9th & 10th, Coolidge Park will be the centerpiece for the festival, with telling occurring under festival tents throughout the day followed by ghost stories under the night sky. Sunday, May 11th, will feature a special Mother's Day Storytelling Cruise on the Southern Belle Riverboat. For more information or to purchase tickets online, please visit the website provided.
