A seasoned comic who has performed in Iraq, the UK, forty of the fifty US States, and a laundromat, her finely crafted jokes make her one of comedy's funniest women. With many TV credits as both writer and performer she was a staff writer for "Tough Crowd With Colin Quinn" performed at the Montreal, Aspen and Edinburgh comedy festivals, and done standup on Comedy Central, Jimmy Kimmel and Showtime, and appeared on Best Week Ever, the Today Show, Countdown with Keith Olbermann, The Rachel Maddow Show and Fox & Friends as well as Oprah. Laurie was a staff writer for the Late Late Show, Tough Crowd and the Bonnie Hunt Show. She co-wrote Sherri Shepherd's memoir, and just competed in Season 8 of NBC's Last Comic Standing.
