Presented by the Destiny Theatre Company. Inspired by renowned poet Langston Hughes's musical gospel play, "Black Nativity" celebrates the traditional Christmas story using a soulful point of view and the distinct energy of the black urban church. Powerful narration and glorious gospel music fill the stage in a jubilant expression of human love, joy and celebration. All seats are general admission at $22.00 in advance, with discounts for seniors, students and groups of 10+. All tickets are $25 day of show. Tickets are available online now. Tickets go on sale Monday, November 23 at 10:00 am at the Auditorium box office and by phone at (423) 757-5050.
