Description:

Anyone with even a passing interest in the guitar should make the effort to hear Richard Smith, but this show is by no means strictly for guitar afficionados. Though Chet Atkins is his primary influence, Richard and Julie present an eclectic and highly entertaining sampling in a diverse range of styles.

If you have yet to hear the extraordinary guitar artistry of Richard Smith, prepare to have your socks knocked off. Born in England, Richard debuted on stage with Chet Atkins at age 11! Now in his thirties, he is based in Nashville, carrying on Chet's legacy of artistry and virtuosity like no one else. Truly one of the world's great guitarists, he is beautifully accompanied by Julie Adams on cello.
